Carrying Out Our Mission:
The Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (est.1925) and The Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. (est.1997) are dedicated to serving our community through our 5 main initiatives:
Life Skills Training
Leadership Training
Financial Literacy
Heath Education
Information Technology
The Kappa League program was established Fraternity-wide over 30 years ago, as the primary program that Alumni Chapters use to mentor young people in their communities.
Since the program’s inception, the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has helped young adolescent African-American males develop and improve their leadership through the Guide Right Leadership & Development Program known as Kappa League.
The Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. in partnership with the William and Betty Cody Foundation provides scholarships to graduating high school students in the Jacksonville Metropolitan Area who have been admitted to a College or University.
The Foundation members and volunteers also provide information to these graduating high school students about choosing a profession and/or career after earning their College or University degrees.
What Makes Us Effective:
Leadership, life skills, financial literacy—backed by Jacksonville-based success stories.
Emphasize collaborations with schools, local healthcare providers, and nonprofits (e.g., Wolfson Children’s, I.M. Sulzbacher).
Grounded in Dr. Charles B. McIntosh’s legacy (if aligned with your organization), reinforcing credibility. Even if his name isn’t front and center, mention how your roots shape your impact.

Over 300 students served-with a 90% increase in confidence and leadership skills.

In 2024, we hosted 50+ workshops on financial literacy and job readiness

Golf Tournament
The Charitable Golf Tournament has been taking place since 1993. The Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. and the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. hosts an Annual Charitable Golf Tournament in the Jacksonville metropolitan area to raise funds to provide scholarships for graduating high school students in their pursuit of post-secondary and graduate degrees.
#JaxKappa B&W Ball
The Black & White Ball is the signature gala of the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. This prestigious event raises funds that are specifically designated to build a new Kappa Community Center that will enhance the lives of the youth of Northwest Jacksonville in particular and the Northwest Jacksonville community at large.
