The Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. was founded and incorporated on December 29, 1997, by John Burrell, Cassius Priestly, Fred Knight,Terrance Ivey, and Tony Nelson, five members of the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
Your financial donations to the Foundation will help our ability to mentor young men in our community and provide scholarships to local graduating seniors seeking to continue their education at an accredited College or University! Donating to the Foundation will also assist in our efforts to build a community center and aid struggling families in need of assistance. Your donations to our 501 (C)(3) Foundation are tax deductible.
Each year in January, the Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. and the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. host the Healthy Start 5k Run! The Healthy Start 5k Run welcomes both runners and walkers. The purpose of this charitable event is to raise awareness for the importance of beginning each new year with a focus on healthy living, regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle. Your contributions also support the Scholarship Fund and the Dr. Charles B. McIntosh Community Achievement Center Fund.
The Charitable Golf Tournament has been taking place since 1993. The Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. and the Jacksonville (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. hosts an Annual Charitable Golf Tournament in the Jacksonville metropolitan area to raise funds to provide scholarships for graduating high school students in their pursuit of post-secondary and graduate degrees.
The Black & White Ball is the signature gala of the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. This prestigious event raises funds that are specifically designated to build a new Kappa Community Center that will enhance the lives of the youth of Northwest Jacksonville in particular and the Northwest Jacksonville community at large.

The Healthy Start 5K Run welcomes both runners and walkers. The purpose of this charitable event is to raise awareness for the importance of living a healthy, fit and smart lifestyle. In addition to the run/walk, healthcare professionals will be in attendance to answer questions and provide insightful educational resources. We encourage the Northeast Florida community and the city of Jacksonville especially, to come out to enjoy a nice run or walk to kick the new year off to a healthy start!

Jacksonville, FL – The Black & White Ball 2021 is the signature gala of the Jacksonville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. This prestigious event raises funds that are specifically designated to build a new Kappa Community Center that will enhance the lives of the youth of Northwest Jacksonville in particular and the Northwest Jacksonville community at large.
The Kappa Alpha Psi Jacksonville Foundation, Inc. will host its 28th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Slammer & Squire Golf Course at the famous World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida in the spring of 2023 with a shotgun start at 8:30 am. The tournament is a four-person, best-ball scramble. The price per golfer includes green and other applicable fees, on-course contests, range balls, and full-course meal.
